Yamaha MD8S
This is Andy's MD8S recorder. It uses special eight track Mini-disks and is the most expensive piece of software KRASH Records owns. It is brilliant for live recording as it is light and small enough to move around easily. Eighteen minutes of eight track can be recorded onto one of these disk and this allows different sounds to be mixed independantly of each other. |

Philips 770 Cd Recorder and HD25SP Sennheiser Headphones
This is my Cd writer which allows me to make recordings from other Cd's as well as external sources such as the MD8S. Copies from other Cd's can be made at X2 speed without any noticeable deterioration of sound quality.
The Sennheiser headphones are closed back which makes then perfect for live recording (they prevent spill occuring while recording) and studio recording (prevent spill between tracks).
Also pictured above is my MPX 100 Lexicon Effects Unit which produces high quality Reverb, Chorus, Flanger and Delay effects. I add these during the mixing of songs.
